One Strip. A Whole Wall Brought to Life.
A 16×16 mm flexible silicone wall washer that grazes light across plaster, stone and brick, then bends around columns and curves without a seam.
Let the Wall Do the Talking
A blank wall rarely needs more fixtures. It needs light that arrives at the right angle. The NLSW-1616 sits close to the surface and sends a narrow 30° beam along it, so every ripple in the plaster and every joint in the stone casts a small, readable shadow.
Because the body is silicone, the same product follows the geometry of the building. Run it straight along a parapet, curve it behind a sweeping partition, or wrap it around a column. The 48 LED/m density and sealed IP67 build keep the result even, indoors or out.
Why the beam angle matters
A wide-angle strip fills the room with light and flattens the wall. A 30° beam stays on the surface, giving a gradient that is strongest beside the strip and fades smoothly across the wall. That fade is what makes a wash look architectural rather than merely bright.
Features That Matter on Site
Gradient, Not Hot Spots
48 LED/m density behind a silicone lens blends into one continuous glow, so the wall shows a soft fade rather than a row of dots.
30° Grazing Beam
The narrow beam stays on the wall face instead of flooding the room, which is what lifts texture on plaster, stone and brick.
Bends in Three Planes
Silicone flexes sideways, up and down, and twists, so one strip follows a curved wall, a column wrap or a stair nosing.
IP67 Sealed Body
Dust-tight and protected against temporary immersion, so the same product works on exterior facades and in damp interiors.
16 × 16 mm Footprint
A small cross-section tucks into a cove, under a ledge or along a stair edge without a bulky fixture visible by day.
24V DC, 18W/m
Low-voltage supply keeps cable runs safe and lets you size one driver for a full 5 m reel.
Warm or Neutral White
3000K for stone, timber and hospitality; 4000K for concrete, white paint and commercial frontages.
Cut-to-Length Flexibility
Supplied on a 5 m reel so runs can be planned to the wall instead of the fixture catalogue.
Plan the mounting line first
The wash is only as even as the line the strip is fixed to. Hold a constant distance from the wall, keep the run continuous, and test a short length at the planned spacing before committing to the full installation.
Where It Works Best
Feature Walls
Stone, brick or textured plaster behind a sofa, bed or reception desk.
Building Facades
Exterior elevations washed from a ledge or parapet line.
Curved Walls
Sweeping interior partitions and lobby curves that rigid fixtures cannot follow.
Column Wraps
Round and oval columns lit evenly around their circumference.
Staircase Walls
Light run along the stringer wall to reveal each step line.
Hotel Corridors
Continuous wall wash that guides guests without glare.
Garden & Boundary Walls
Landscape walls and planters washed after dark.
Retail Display Walls
Even vertical illumination for shelving and brand walls.
Temple & Heritage Frontages
Carved stone and jaali surfaces brought out by low-angle light.
Villa Entrances
Gate pillars and entrance walls washed in warm white.

Installation Questions, Answered
It washes a vertical surface with light from a strip mounted close to it. The 30° beam grazes along the wall, so the surface is brightest near the strip and fades smoothly away, which emphasises texture and adds depth to feature walls, facades and columns.
For interiors, 50–150 mm from the wall face is typical. Closer gives a tighter, more dramatic gradient on textured stone or brick; further gives a broader, softer wash on smooth plaster. Exterior facades often use 200–400 mm depending on wall height. Mock up a short length before fixing the full run.
The silicone body can curve sideways, bend up and down, and twist without kinking. That lets one strip follow a curved wall, spiral around a column or trace a stair edge. Keep bends gradual and avoid sharp folds, which can stress the body.
Yes. The body is IP67 rated, which covers dust-tight construction and temporary immersion. Keep the driver in a dry, ventilated enclosure and seal any cut ends and joints properly with the correct end caps and waterproof connections.
The strip draws 18 W/m, so 5 m is 90 W. Use a 24V constant-voltage driver rated 100 W or more, which leaves headroom. For several reels, add the wattage and keep roughly 20% spare capacity.
Choose 3000K for warm materials such as sandstone, timber and brick, and for hospitality and residential spaces. Choose 4000K for concrete, white or grey paint, offices and commercial frontages where a cleaner light is wanted.
Clip or bracket it in a continuous straight line at a fixed distance from the wall, because uneven spacing shows up as an uneven wash. Feed power from one end for short runs, and from both ends for longer runs to limit voltage drop.
The strip itself is a standard 24V constant-voltage load, so dimming depends on the driver. Pair it with a compatible dimmable 24V driver such as a triac, 0-10V or DALI model.
