One Driver Family, Every Wattage a Project Needs
Most LED installations don't fail because the strip was wrong — they fail because the driver behind it was undersized, underspecified, or never tested at load before it left the factory. The CD Series exists to remove that variable. It's a constant voltage driver family spanning 60W to 500W across both 12V and 24V DC, so the same reliable platform covers a single cove profile and an entire commercial floor's worth of continuous LED runs. Every unit is run at 100% of its rated wattage on the production line before dispatch, and the fanless convection body keeps it silent wherever it's installed.
Tested at Full Load, Not Just at Idle
Most component failures in a driver happen early — within the first hours of operation, a pattern electronics engineers call infant mortality. Rather than spot-check a sample, Nucleo runs every CD Series unit at 100% of its rated wattage before it leaves the factory. Whatever fails early, fails on the test bench — not inside your ceiling void six months after handover.
Four Fixed Brightness Levels, No Controller Required
A DIP switch on the driver body sets the output to one of four preset levels — configured once at installation and held permanently until physically changed:
Set It Once at Handover
No dimmer switch, DALI gateway or 0-10V control wire to run. The installer selects 25, 50, 75 or 100% during commissioning and the driver stays there — a reliable option anywhere a fixed, consistent brightness is specified rather than variable control.
Slow start, selectable by DIP switch: instead of snapping to full brightness the instant power is applied, the CD Series can ramp output up gradually over roughly one to two seconds. It's a small detail that matters in hotel corridors, bedrooms and gallery spaces, where an instant flash of light reads as jarring rather than considered. Instant-on remains available for spaces where it's preferred.
Available Models
Eight wattages, in both 12V and 24V DC. Every model is IP20 rated with fanless free-air convection cooling:

Sizing With Headroom, Not to the Edge
Add up total LED load, then pick the next wattage above with at least 20% headroom — a driver run continuously near its ceiling ages faster than one with room to spare. A 20-metre run of 24W/m strip draws 480W; that calls for the 500W model, not a 400W unit pushed to its limit.
