One Run of Strip. Every Scene the Room Needs.
Warm dinner light, crisp morning white, saturated colour for the party — RGB, CCT and RGBCCT strips let a single cove change its character on command.
A static white strip decides the mood of a room the day it is installed. A tunable or colour strip hands that decision back to the people using the space — hour by hour, event by event.
Nucleo's 24V colour-control series covers four channel configurations: dual-white CCT, RGB, RGB+W (4-in-1) and RGB+CCT (5-in-1). They share the same voltage platform and install the same way as a standard strip — the difference is how many channels the controller can drive, and therefore how many scenes the space can hold.
The rule most projects miss: if the strip is the room's main ambient light, it needs dedicated white LEDs. White mixed from red, green and blue looks bluish and flattens skin tones and timber. Use CCT or RGBCCT for ambient coves; keep pure RGB for accent lines and features.
Channel configurationsFour Strips, Four Levels of Control
CCT Dual White
Warm and cool white LEDs blended to any tone from 2700K to 6000K. Best white quality in the series.
RGB
Full colour mixing for accent lines, bars and feature walls. Not intended as a primary white source.
RGB + W · 4-in-1
Colour plus a dedicated warm or cool white channel. One fixed white tone, far cleaner than RGB-mixed white.
RGB + CCT · 5-in-1
Full colour and full tunable white from one strip. Replaces two parallel runs in the same cove.
White tuningThe Colour Temperature Window
Dual-white strips blend two LED channels continuously, so the white tone can fade smoothly through the day rather than jump between presets. The tuning window runs from 2700K warm white to 6000K daylight white — covering evening, task and daytime scenes in one strip.

Profile check before ordering: 12mm PCBs (most 4-in-1 and 5-in-1 options) need a wider aluminium channel than a standard 10mm strip. Confirm the inner channel width of your profile — or ask us to pair strip and profile together.
Why this seriesBuilt for Specification Work
Scene-Ready Channels
2, 3, 4 and 5-channel options so the strip matches exactly the level of control the brief calls for — no paying for channels you won't use.
24V Platform
Lower current than 12V, less voltage drop and steadier colour along the run. Same drivers across the whole series.
Smooth White Fading
Dual-white channels blend continuously for circadian schedules and gradual evening dim-to-warm transitions.
Controls Agnostic
Works with RF and wall-panel controllers, Wi-Fi/Zigbee smart controllers, DMX decoders and DALI DT8 for CCT and RGBCCT.
5mm to 12mm PCBs
Narrow strips for slim and flexible profiles, wider 12mm boards for high-output multi-channel chips.
Binned for Consistency
CRI 80+ white with colour binning so adjoining reels match across long coves and multiple rooms.
How to specifyFive Steps to the Right Strip
- Decide the role of the light. Primary ambient light needs white LEDs (CCT, 4-in-1 or 5-in-1). Accent-only lines can be RGB.
- Choose the white behaviour. One fixed tone → 4-in-1. Tone changes through the day → CCT or 5-in-1.
- Match the controller. Channel count must equal the strip: 2 for CCT, 3 for RGB, 4 for RGBW, 5 for RGBCCT.
- Size the power. Watts per metre × length, plus 20–25% headroom, on a 24V supply.
- Plan the feeds. Feed both ends on runs over ~5m; use an amplifier or separate circuit beyond ~10m.
Where it worksApplications
Master Bedrooms
Cool, bright white for mornings; slow fade to 2700K at night. CCT tunable white.
Hotel Suites
Preset arrival, relax and sleep scenes from the room keycard or BMS via DALI DT8.
Living & Media Rooms
RGBCCT cove: warm white for everyday, colour for movies and gatherings.
Bars & Lounges
RGB or 4-in-1 under counters, bottle shelves and booth edges for evening colour shifts.
Restaurants
Brighter, neutral service at lunch; warm, low-key tone for dinner — one ceiling, two moods.
Retail & Showrooms
Tune white to suit the product — warm for leather and wood, cool for steel and electronics.
Offices & Meeting Rooms
Circadian CCT schedules that follow the working day across open floors and cabins.
Spas & Wellness
Soft colour washes for treatment rooms with warm white for cleaning and setup.
Gaming & Home Theatre
Addressable scenes synced to apps or DMX for immersive backlighting.
Event & Banquet Halls
Themed colour for functions, neutral white for daytime conferences — same cove.
Technical FAQInstallation & Specification Questions
If the cove is the room's main ambient light, choose a strip with dedicated white LEDs. RGBCCT (5-in-1) gives warm-to-cool tunable white and full colour from one run. RGBW (4-in-1) is the lower-cost option when a single fixed white tone is enough. Plain RGB is best kept for feature or accent lines — RGB-mixed white looks cold and renders skin tones and materials poorly.
CCT: 3 wires, 2-channel CCT controller. RGB: 4 wires, 3-channel controller. RGBW 4-in-1: 5 wires, 4-channel controller. RGBCCT 5-in-1: 6 wires, 5-channel controller. For building systems, CCT and RGBCCT strips can be driven through DALI DT8, and all types through DMX decoders.
Around 5m can be fed from one end with even output. For runs up to about 10m, feed both ends or add a mid-point feed. Beyond that, use an amplifier (repeater) or split into separate controller outputs. Colour strips are more sensitive to voltage drop than single-colour strips — a small drop shifts the colour mix, not just the brightness.
Multiply watts per metre by total length and add 20–25% headroom. Example: 8m of a 20W/m RGBCCT strip = 160W, so specify a 24V supply of at least 200W. Rated wattage assumes all channels at full output, so this also covers full-white scenes.
A 3CCT strip steps between three preset colour temperatures. A dual-white (2-in-1) strip has separate warm and cool channels blended continuously, so any tone between the two ends can be set and faded smoothly. Dual-white is the right choice for circadian or scene-based systems.
Match the strip PCB to the profile's inner channel. 5mm and 8mm strips suit slim and flexible profiles; 10mm strips fit most standard recessed and surface channels; 12mm PCBs (typical for 5050 RGBW and RGBCCT) need wider channels. Check the channel width before ordering.
This series is IP20 for dry indoor locations. For bathrooms, facades, pools or outdoor coves, use a waterproof IP65 or IP68 strip, or house the IP20 strip in a sealed profile rated for the location.
