PMMA end glow fiber optic cable has no electronics of its own — it is simply a highly polished acrylic strand that channels LED light from a remote illuminator to a single point. Because the light source sits outside the ceiling or panel entirely, there is no heat, no wiring and no live component anywhere near the finished surface. Nucleo's NL and CK series supply the raw fiber in seven diameters, from a fine 0.5mm strand for dense starfields down to a bold 3mm strand for individual accent points, in continuous rolls that run straight from illuminator to ceiling without a single joint.
Smaller strands scatter into hundreds of fine points; larger strands hold a single bright accent. All seven diameters run on the same illuminator platform.
