Installation Guide

🪧 Signage / Lettering Installation

  1. Create or commission an acrylic or aluminium backing board cut to the letter/logo shape. Mark the neon flex routing path on the board with a pencil — plan the continuous single-run path that minimises cuts and joins.
  2. Cut the neon flex at the planned cut points using a sharp craft knife or hacksaw. Each cut must be square and clean — angled cuts prevent the end cap from seating correctly.
  3. Immediately seal cut ends with the silicone end cap and apply clear silicone sealant around the joint. This maintains IP67 — skip this step and moisture enters the LED strip inside.
  4. Mount clip anchors on the backing board at 150mm intervals along the routing path. Snap the neon flex into the clips — it should sit flush and uniform. For tight letter curves, use additional clips at 50mm intervals.
  5. Connect each neon flex section to the 12V/24V driver using push-in wire connectors. For multi-section signs, daisy-chain sections in parallel (not series) — all sections share the same +V and GND rails.
