5015 Wall LED Profile
50mm Wide · 15mm Deep · Wall-Mounted LED Channel for Accent Bands, Staircase Lines, and Feature Wall Details
What Is the 5015 Wall LED Profile?
The 5015 is a 50×15mm aluminium wall LED profile — a single-channel extrusion designed to mount flush against any wall surface and hold an LED strip so it emits light forward, away from the wall. At 50mm wide and just 15mm deep, it is slim enough to be a subtle architectural detail while wide enough to house a 12mm LED strip with a quality diffuser cover and visible aluminium frame on both sides.
5015 Single Channel vs. NLP-5015 TwoWay
Both profiles share the same 50×15mm body dimensions — the difference is in how many channels they carry and what lighting effect each creates.
🔵 5015 — Single Channel
- One LED strip channel — forward emission only
- Light projects away from wall into the room
- Clean horizontal accent band or line
- Single driver/circuit — simple wiring
- Ideal for: wall bands, staircase lines, door frames
- Standoff or flush direct wall mount
- Any single-colour, COB, or CCT strip compatible
- Most cost-effective wall profile option
🟡 NLP-5015 TwoWay — Dual Channel
- Two independent LED channels — up AND down
- Creates floating wall halo effect
- Wall glows above and below simultaneously
- Two drivers/circuits — independent control per channel
- Ideal for: bedheads, feature walls, corridor accents
- Standoff mount recommended (20–35mm gap)
- One strip per channel — separate CCT possible
- Premium dual-wash architectural effect
Four Installation Positions
The 5015 mounts in any orientation on any wall surface — horizontal, vertical, diagonal, or recessed into the wall face.
Horizontal Band
Most PopularRun horizontally across the full width of a wall — at dado height, at cornice height, or mid-wall. Creates a clean architectural line that visually extends the width of any room.
Vertical Line
ArchitecturalRun vertically from floor to ceiling alongside a doorway, window, or wall panel edge. Defines the boundary between surface zones and adds vertical height to any space.
Staircase Riser
Safety + StyleFixed horizontally on the wall alongside each stair tread — at tread height. Each profile illuminates the step tread below it. Safety lighting and architectural detail combined.
Recessed Wall Groove
PremiumSet into a 50mm-wide, 15mm-deep groove cut into plasterboard or joinery — the profile sits flush with the wall surface. Only the diffuser face and the forward light beam are visible.
Three Finish Options
Choose the finish that complements or contrasts your wall material — each is available with all diffuser options.
Silver Anodised
Brushed aluminium look — works with grey, concrete, stone, and contemporary palettes. A visible metallic detail when lit or unlit.
Black Anodised
Maximum contrast on light walls — the profile disappears on dark walls. Most popular finish for premium residential and hospitality.
White Powder Coat
Blends with white plaster and painted walls — appears as a subtle shadow gap detail until the strip is switched on.
Three Diffuser Options
The diffuser cover determines how the LED strip appears inside the profile — choose based on viewing distance and lumen priority.
⬜ Opal (Milky)
Fully hides the LED chips behind a smooth white face. Best choice for any wall installation where the profile is viewed at close range or directly. Produces a clean, uniform light line.
🔵 Frosted / Satin
Semi-diffused — reduces dot visibility significantly while retaining more brightness than opal. Good for wall profiles viewed from more than 800mm distance.
🟢 Clear
Maximum lumen output. LEDs remain partially visible. Best for COB strip (which is already dotless) or where maximum light output from the wall is the priority.
Why Choose Nucleo 5015 Wall Profile?
Perfect Proportions
50mm wide is wide enough for a quality LED channel and visible aluminium margin on both sides — giving the profile a refined, deliberate look rather than a cheap thin strip holder.
12mm Wide Channel
Accepts 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm strips — including COB LED strip, standard SMD, and dual-channel CCT tuneable strips. The widest compatibility of any 15mm-depth wall profile.
Aluminium Heatsink
6063 aluminium body conducts heat away from the LED strip — extending strip lifespan significantly compared to strip mounted directly on plasterboard or timber.
Cut to Any Length
2-metre standard lengths cut with an aluminium mitre saw. 45° internal and external corner cuts achievable for room corner joins. Project bulk lengths available.
End-to-End Joinable
Mechanical push-in joiners allow continuous multi-length runs with perfectly aligned diffuser faces — no visible step or gap between 2m sections on long wall runs.
Recessed-Flush Option
The 50×15mm cross-section can be set into a groove in plasterboard or joinery for a completely flush, built-in appearance — same visual result as a much more expensive custom linear fixture.
Technical Features
📏 50 × 15mm Body
50mm face width, 15mm wall projection. Slim enough to be unobtrusive; wide enough for a quality framed diffuser appearance with aluminium visible on both sides of the strip channel.
🔌 12mm Channel
Internal channel width accommodates 8–12mm LED strips. The strip sits flat against the aluminium channel base — good thermal contact for passive heatsinking through the wall-contact legs.
🪛 Mounting Clips
Spring-tension mounting clips at 300mm intervals — profile clicks in without visible screws on the diffuser face. Screw-through mounting also available for recessed groove installations.
🔗 Corner Joiners
90° internal and external corner joiner accessories maintain perfect profile alignment at wall corners — horizontal or vertical orientation, internal or external corner, both covered.
💧 IP44 Option
IP44 rated 5015 wall profile available for bathroom walls, shower niches, and other wet-area wall installations where splash protection is required.
🏭 Project Quantities
Available in project bulk quantities (50m, 100m, 500m+) for joinery factories, furniture manufacturers, and large-scale fit-out contractors across India.

Installation Guide
📌 Direct Wall Surface Mount
- Mark the profile run on the wall using a laser level for horizontal runs or a plumb line for vertical runs. Accuracy is critical — any deviation in the profile line is visible in the finished light output as an uneven light line along the wall.
- Pre-drill the mounting clip positions at 300mm intervals using a 4mm bit. Insert appropriate wall plugs for your wall substrate — standard plastic plugs for plasterboard, masonry plugs for brick or blockwork, self-tapping fixings for metal stud.
- Fix the mounting clips to the wall at the drilled positions. For adhesive-only fixing on smooth surfaces (tiled walls, painted plasterboard), apply a continuous bead of construction adhesive along the profile base instead and press firmly — hold for 60 seconds.
- Insert the LED strip into the profile channel before clicking the profile into the mounting clips — it is easier to lay and connect the strip with the profile on a work surface than with it fixed to the wall. Press the strip firmly along the channel for good thermal contact.
- Route the LED driver cable from the profile channel end toward the driver position — along the profile edge and then down the wall in a cable raceway, or through the wall cavity if a chase is available. Connect to the constant voltage driver at the appropriate voltage for your strip.
- Click the loaded profile into the wall-mounted clips. Snap the diffuser cover into the profile channel. Fit end caps. Power on and verify uniform brightness along the full run from both ends. Check for any visible brightness variation — if present, the driver may be undersized or power injection from both ends may be required for long runs.
🔲 Recessed Wall Groove Mount
- Mark the groove position on the wall with a laser or chalk line. The groove must be exactly 50mm wide and 15mm deep — any wider and the profile will not sit flush; any shallower and the profile will protrude.
- Cut the groove using a plunge router with a 50mm straight bit and a fence guide rail clamped to the wall at the marked position. For plasterboard, a multi-tool with a straight attachment is faster. For masonry, use a wall chaser set to 50mm width and 15mm depth.
- Test-fit the profile in the groove dry — it should slide in snugly with 1–2mm clearance each side. Verify the diffuser face will sit flush with the surrounding wall surface when the profile is fully seated. Adjust groove depth if needed.
- Before inserting the profile permanently, plan the cable exit route. Route a length of conduit or chase a cable path from the groove position to the driver location, so the LED strip cable has a clean path to exit the groove without creating a visible surface bump.
- Apply neutral-cure silicone adhesive to the side walls of the groove and press the profile in — hold for 30 seconds. Do not apply adhesive to the groove base (this blocks thermal contact between the strip base and aluminium). Allow 24 hours to cure before applying wall filler around the groove edges.
- Fill the gap between the profile edge and the wall surface with flexible decorator's caulk, sand smooth, and paint to match the wall. The finished result shows only the diffuser face at wall level — the profile body is fully concealed in the wall groove.
〰️ The Line on the Wall That Completes the Room
A wall without a light detail is just a flat surface. A single horizontal line of warm LED light running across that surface — at the right height, in the right colour temperature, from a profile that looks precise and intentional — transforms it into a designed space. Not because the light is bright, but because it is exactly there and nowhere else.
The 5015 is the most direct way to put that line on any wall. Slim enough to disappear into the architecture when unlit. Wide enough to look professionally framed when it is. Versatile enough to mount horizontally, vertically, or recessed flush. And compatible with every LED strip in the Nucleo range — COB for a seamless glow, CCT tuneable for a changing mood, or single-colour for a consistent accent at any colour temperature you specify.
